Arizona Gives Day 2026: How Arizonans Can Strengthen Charitable Giving Across the State
Arizona Gives Day, powered by AZ Impact for Good, returns April 7 with a renewed focus on strengthening generosity across the state — not just for one day, but all year long.
The initiative is anchored by an upgraded AZGives.org platform designed to make giving easier, smarter, and more accessible for both donors and nonprofits.
“Arizona Gives Day is about more than one date on the calendar,” said Michael Morefield, Director of Marketing and Communications for AZ Impact for Good. “It’s a chance for Arizonans to show who we are, and who we want to be, by supporting the nonprofits that keep our communities strong.”
And that message feels especially timely.
A Platform Built for Year-Round Impact
The newly enhanced AZGives.org platform now offers nonprofits tools that extend far beyond April 7. Features include:
Peer-to-peer fundraising capabilities
Mobile-friendly donation pages
Campaign management tools
Embedded donation portals for nonprofit websites
For many small and mid-sized organizations, this platform functions as a full-scale donation system without the high cost of developing one independently.
For donors, the platform has become more intuitive. A “Browse” feature allows users to search nonprofits by mission, county, population served, and Arizona tax-credit eligibility, including Charitable, Foster Care, and Public School Tax Credits.
A new “Opportunities” section highlights volunteer roles and upcoming events, making it easier for Arizonans to contribute beyond financial giving.
During Giving Tuesday last November alone, nonprofits using the platform raised more than $139,000, a glimpse of what’s possible when accessibility meets generosity.
The Numbers Tell a Story — But So Can We
Over the past decade, Arizona Gives Day has generated more than $51 million for nonprofits statewide. In 2025 alone, more than $4.3 million was raised through 19,700 donations benefiting over 750 nonprofits. More than 380 volunteers pledged nearly 3,400 hours of service.
These numbers are encouraging.
But they also highlight the opportunity ahead.
If Arizona currently ranks near the bottom in charitable giving, that means we have room, and responsibility, to grow.
How to Participate
Nonprofit registration remains open through April 5. Early registrants can begin fundraising immediately through the AZGives.org platform.
For donors, early giving opens March 17, leading up to Arizona Gives Day on April 7. Contributions made through AZGives.org are tax-deductible and may qualify for Arizona tax credits.
Businesses can also participate through sponsorships, partnerships, and group giving initiatives.

A Moment for Reflection and Action
At Arizona Coffea, we often highlight the cafés, creatives, and local stories that make this state feel like home. But community isn’t just about where we gather, it’s about how we show up for one another.
Arizona Gives Day offers more than a fundraising milestone. It offers a moment to redefine what generosity looks like in our state.
And maybe, just maybe, it’s the beginning of Arizona climbing that ranking, not because we had to, but because we chose to.
