PHOENIX, AZ — Arizona's vibrant culinary scene will take center stage once again as the Devour Culinary Classic returns to Desert Botanical Garden on Saturday, February 27, and Sunday, February 28, 2027. The two-day celebration invites food enthusiasts to experience the flavors, creativity, and cultural traditions that make Arizona one of the country's most distinctive culinary destinations.
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Sonoran Desert, the annual event will bring together talented chefs, winemakers, brewers, local food producers, and culinary artisans from across the state. Guests will have the opportunity to explore Arizona's diverse food culture through thoughtfully prepared tastings, local beverages, live entertainment, and experiences that highlight the connection between food, community, and place.
A Celebration of Arizona's Culinary Identity
Since its founding in 2008, the Devour Culinary Classic has grown into a celebrated showcase of Arizona's culinary talent. Created through a collaboration between Local First Arizona and local chefs, the event has helped elevate the state's reputation as a destination for innovative dining and exceptional food experiences.
What makes Devour particularly special is its commitment to telling Arizona's story through food. From ingredients influenced by the desert landscape to culinary traditions passed down through generations, the festival highlights the people and cultures that continue to shape the way Arizonans eat.
The 2027 celebration will place special emphasis on Arizona's landscapes, locally sourced ingredients, history, and heritage. Guests can look forward to discovering how the state's agricultural roots and evolving culinary creativity come together to create something uniquely Arizona.

Where Food, Art, and Nature Come Together
Few settings capture the beauty of Arizona quite like Desert Botanical Garden. Surrounded by towering cacti, desert vegetation, and scenic walking paths, attendees will enjoy a culinary experience that extends beyond the plate.
Throughout the weekend, guests will be able to sample creations from participating restaurants and food producers while exploring the Garden's natural beauty. Live music and art experiences will add another layer to the celebration, creating an atmosphere that brings together culinary creativity, culture, and the outdoors.
The combination of local flavors and the desert setting makes Devour an opportunity to experience Arizona through multiple senses.

Supporting the People Behind Arizona's Food Scene
Beyond the tastings and entertainment, Devour Culinary Classic serves as an important celebration of Arizona's independent food community.
Local chefs, farmers, makers, and culinary entrepreneurs contribute to the state's identity, often drawing inspiration from regional ingredients, family traditions, and the communities they serve. Events like Devour provide an opportunity to recognize their contributions and introduce more people to the businesses helping Arizona's culinary scene thrive.
For food enthusiasts, the event offers a chance to discover new favorites, connect with the stories behind local businesses, and gain a deeper appreciation for the creativity found throughout the state.
At Arizona Coffea, we believe that discovering Arizona means looking beyond familiar destinations and celebrating the people and experiences that make our communities extraordinary. Devour Culinary Classic reflects that spirit by placing local talent, heritage, and creativity at the center of the experience.
